Rolex Cellini

A Cellini is just as much a Rolex as any other. The movement inside is of the same quality as those found in their Oyster line..

Cellini's are generally precious metal (gold or platinum), are not waterproof and mainly cater to the distinguished "Dinner Circuit" crowd as they are all considered dress watches..

Men's are manually wound and ladies are generally quartz, although some men's are quartz as well.

Since most collectors focus on the Professional or "sports" line, there is much more research done on them and little in the open available for the Cellini line.. Back in the early 70's Rolex distinguished itself by making the thinnest mechanical men's watch available at the time, it was a Cellini..
